A noter que les hardcovers ne sont pas disponibles en version digitale ni le single du numéro 8 avec Cerebus en guest. Je pense que ce sont surtout les numéros canoniques du premier volume, enfin je pense car c'est assez compliqué avec cette fameuse "guest era".

Suppositions avant City at war:

Concernant les rééditions de Mirage, j'ai du mal à croire qu'il y ait du nouveau à travers cette énième série de rééditions d'IDW. Peut-être vont-ils mettre quelques numéros guest comme ça avait été le cas avec les Classics en 2013, mais des inédits comme La rivière de Veitch me surprendrait

Non ce sont juste des compilations des Color Classics. Déja sortis en hardcover sous le nom de "The Works" je crois donc rien de nouveau. Les rééditions de Mirage par IDW c'est un peu bordélique surtout pour le premier volume entre les Classics, Black and White Classics, Color Classics, The Works, Ultimate Collection. Au moins les Tales of the TMNT sont dans une collection à part.

Le troisième numéro de Shredder in Hell est lui aussi décalé, pour le mois de mai. Une parution mensuelle semblait trop ambitieuse pour permettre à Santolouco de livrer la marchandise avec un niveau de finition aussi élevé. Il est préférable de sortir un numéro tous les deux mois plutôt que de demander à Santolouco de rusher son travail pour respecter des deadlines qui n'étaient pas tenables. En consolation, le Director's Cut du premier numéro sortira bien en avril.

Des notes et des crayonnés avec j'imagine les différentes étapes de création de la couverture et de certaines planches. Rien d'extraordinaire, un contenu bonus qui aurait pu être éventuellement ajouté à l'édition reliée mais il fallait peut être faire patienter les lecteurs à cause des retards. Étonnamment, les Director's Cut chez IDW ne sont disponible qu'en version papier mais cette fois-ci il y aura une version digitale.

Merci pour l'info Bushido, je craignais que ce soit ce qui nous attendais. Au vu de la qualité, comme le dit Nortock, je pense qu'on peut largement ne pas lui en vouloir. Il est juste époustouflant sur cette série. Et on en parle peu, mais la colo de Marcelo A. Costa y est aussi pour beaucoup. Un vrai régal.

J'ai eu l'impression qu'on avait une petite avance dans l'histoire sur Shredder in hell #1 lors de sa sortie, peut-être que ces retards permettront de mieux le resituer dans le contexte de l'aventure et ne pas spoiler d'éventuels évènements. Le principal est que le #5 sorte au bon moment pour s'ancrer dans l'ongoing.

Pour le director's cut, on aura pas mal d'annotations comme dit Bushido mais aussi apparemment les coulisses de la création de l'histoire et je suppose, le #1 final. Je ne sais pas si le contenu aurait pu figurer dans le TPB de cette série, ou alors ils auraient dus rester hyper superficiel et couvrir le tout sur une poignée de pages bonus. Au moins là ils pourront s'étendre, montrer du contenu (enrichir le Tortuepédia !!! ) et nous faire patienter encore un petit peu avec la suite.
Au moins cette fois, ce n'est pas un truc en couverture carton de quelques dizaines de pages pour 16$ comme ce qu'ils avaient fait avec Inside out.
